Meet Your Coach
I’m Jill, the founder of The Charleston Coach. What started as teaching friends around the Mahjong table quickly turned into a growing community of players across the DC area. I love helping beginners feel comfortable learning the game and creating gatherings that are just as much about connection and building community as they are about Mahjong.
My lessons are approachable, encouraging, and designed to meet players where they are, whether you are learning your very first Charleston or building confidence with strategy and gameplay. From private lessons and guided play to social events and corporate gatherings, my goal is to make Mahjong feel welcoming, fun, and something you look forward to sharing with others.
